Introduction
Annapurna base camp trek is an incredible hike through various scenery and culture absolute with rich mountain vistas, huge terraced fields, attractive Gurung villages and an extensive variety of flora and fauna. Mt. Annapurna 8091m of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its Annapurna base camp, which is at 4130m; start from beautiful city Pokhara and end also there is one of the most popular walks in Nepal. Moreover, we reach our purpose via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) base camp which is revered by the Nepalese for its unique beauty mountain.
The entire sanctuary was held as sacred to the Gurung people, one of the many inhabitant people to live in the area. The sanctuary was believed to be the home of a number of deities, from Hinduism and Buddhism as well as older animistic gods. The peak of Machapuchre at the entrance was believed to be the home of the god Shiva, and the daily plumes of snow were thought the smoke of his heavenly incense. Until recently, the local Gurung people forbade anyone from meat into the Annapurna Sanctuary, and women and untouchables were not allowed from going there as well.
In recent years, the number of trekkers to the Sanctuary has increased largely, in part because the Sanctuary forms the base of one of the major routes to the peaks of the Annapurna range. The Annapurna Sanctuary is now part of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which places restrictions on the number of outside travelers, gathering of firewood, and domestic animal grazing.
