Everest Base Camp Economic Trek 14 Days, one of the greatest treks in the world, The Himalayan trek, flying Lukla and climbing to the foot of Mt. Everest through a breathless high alpine landscape. Mt. Everest has exported a powerful draw for a century now. You will be following in the mountain legend footprint of great mountaineer’s legend like Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, Sir Edmund Hillary, Reinhold Messner, Sundare Sherpa, Ang Rita Sherpa, Appa Sherpa you climb through the Sherpa villages, Monasteries, Sherpa Culture, foothills, of the world’s highest mountain base camp and Kalapather.
Our Everest Base Camp Economic Trek begins flying for an interesting mountain flight to Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla, also featured in the National Geographic. Further, it will be a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpa’s, where we are greeted by amazing mountain vistas. We continue our trek following the trail to a famous view point, Kalapatthar, which offers a marvelous panorama of the Himalayas. After achieving our target of Everest Base Camp, we trek back down to Lukla for a return flight to Kathmandu.
Another noteworthy feature of the trip is the chance to stay at the finest local basic lodges and experience the typical Himalayan daily life. Enjoy the outstanding scenery of the Himalayan range near the Khumbu region with three of the world’s six tallest peaks of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Makalu rising above everything in view. As well trekking, take a glance into the life of world famous climbers, the Sherpas. The trek further provides a huge opportunity to analysis around the world heritage site of the Sagarmatha National Park which hosts a mixture of Himalayan flora and fauna and to explore the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world.
Outline Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu hotel transfer.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla 2880m than trek to Phakding 2610m 3 hours.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m). 5-6 hours.
Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche 3880m. 5-6 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche 4410m. 5-6 hours.
Day 07: Acclimatization day in Dingboche.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4910m). 5-6 hours.
Day 09: Trek to Ghorakshep 5140, Everest Base camp 5350m and return to Ghorakshep. 7-8 hours.
Day 10: Hiking to Kalapathar 5545m, trek to Dingboche. 6-7 hours.
Day 11: Trek to Namche. 8-9 hours.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla. 6-7 hours.
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 14: Departure home.
